Comb. Hard rubber; dark brown; missing four of the middle teeth of the comb; hole punched in end; very faint print stamped on side "I. R. Comb Co., Goodyears Patent," which was likely followed with the now illegible date "May 6, 1851" as was common on combs of this era; recovered from wreck of the schooner ALVIN CLARK, which foundered in Lake Michigan in 1864.
