The Detroit Historical Society will be opening an exhibition about the long history of the Cass Corridor in fall 2026. We are seeking objects, photographs, films, documents, and other materials that help tell the story of this vital neighborhood. Items connected to its bars and restaurants, schools, social groups, marches, festivals, churches, businesses, and, most importantly, the people who shaped and lived its history are especially valuable.
If you have materials or stories to share, we encourage you to be part of preserving this history. Please submit information about your items by June 30, 2026.
