One color photograph of a funeral procession at the Detroit Fire Department headquarters building located on Washington Boulevard at West Larned Street. The photo shows lines of policemen and firemen along Washington Boulevard who are standing at attention and saluting. Black-draping can be seen on fire trucks and the headquarters building in the background. Two firemen died as a result of the riots which had taken place in the city in late July, 1967. A red ink stamp on the verso shows "D.F.D. [Detroit Fire Department] Photo, by Capt. J. A. Mancinelli."
