One color photograph of a funeral procession for one of two Detroit Fire Department firemen who died as a result of the riots which had taken place in the city in late July, 1967. The photo shows an honor guard with lines of firemen who are standing at attention and saluting. A black-draped fire truck is carrying a flag-draped casket in the background beneath many large trees in the cemetery (Mt. Elliott or Elmwood). A red ink stamp on the verso shows "D.F.D. [Detroit Fire Department] Photo, by Capt. J. A. Mancinelli."
