Color 127 format slide of a photo taken during the unrest of 1967 by Detroit Fire Department photographer Capt. Joseph A. Mancinelli. The image shows firefighters and fire trucks, including ladder truck number 15, putting out a fire in the row of buildings along the northeast side of 12th Street between Clairmont Avenue and Taylor Street. Along the block, signs are visible for Parr's Bar, Jones Bar and Beauty Shop, the Reliable Rug Company, LaFleur Photo Art Studio, and Cancellation Shoes.
The slide is housed in a Kodacolor cardboard mount, stamped with "MAR 68R."
