U.S.S. YANTIC
Black and white photograph of Robert Hopkin painting "U.S.S. YANTIC" from the Detroit Historical Museum exhibit "An Artist Views Detroit - Robert Hopkin." Landscape painting that shows a large ship with three masts, two closer to the back and one closer to the front, on rough waters. The ship, facing the right side of the painting, is tilted up as it moves over a wave.
Original painting 37"x 48" and owned by Brodhead Naval Armory as indicated on back of photograph.
