Trolley Station Construction and Cobo Hall from Veterans Bld. Penthouse
Black and white photographic print mounted on board depicting an elevated view of the construction of a station for the Detroit Citizen's Railway trolley system in front of Cobo Hall, taken from the Veterans Memorial Building. The marquee of Cobo Hall reads "Fire Prevention Week: Oct 7 Thru 13. Michigan Apparel Club: October 7,8,9. Oktoberfest Hart Plaza Lower Level: October 12, 13, 14". A bus and cars can be seen parked out front Cobo Hall. Tracks and a trolley can be seen in front of Cobo in front of a construction area containing spare tracks and construction equipment. A tow truck and two cars are stopped at a corner. Dated October, 1979.
