Black and white photograph of a framed Robert Hopkin painting of the fire house of Phoenix Company No. 5. The fire house is two stories and has a flag pole on the roof that flies a flag with the number 5 on it. A horse-drawn fire apparatus sits in front of the fire house with two fire fighters cleaning it. The figures of firefighters can be seen through the open fire house door. The windows on the second floor are shuttered. A plate at the bottom of the painting reads "Presented to Detroit Fire Department by Robert Hopkin."
