Dearborn's Southend
Black and white photographic print mounted on board depicting a man standing behind the counter at a market, holding a cigar. The shelves are behind the counter are filled with cigarettes and various other products. Plaques sitting on the top shelf along the back wall read "Hamm's Beer" and "Pabst at Popular Prices". Handwritten signs on the counter read "Cigarettes $4.10/carton, our price is as low as any supermarkets", and "Shoplifters will be Persecuted, then Prosecuted". A rack of the Detroit News is visible in front of the counter. Dated October 1974.
