Photograph. Black and white photo showing the tugboat, G. F. Becker of Detroit, that is maneuvering on the Detroit River just offshore from the Detroit Edison Delray electric power plant. The tugboat and its crew are assisting in the construction of aerial power lines across the river which will form an interconnection between the Delray electric power plant in Detroit and the Ontario Hydro J. C. Keith Generating Station in Windsor, Ontario. The Delray power plant site (with coal piles) can be seen in the center background area. Two of the steel lattice towers that will support the aerial power lines (faintly visible overhead) can be seen on the right side of the photo.
