Print. Black and white photographic print, mounted on board, of the Newcomb-Endicott Company in the foreground and The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store located on Woodward Avenue, visible in the background. The image, taken from an elevated vantage point, features the two retailers and automobiles parked along the cuts in front of the two buildings. Hand-written on the verso, "Hudson's between 1925 and 1927. The Newcomb-Endicott Co. shown was purchased by Hudson's which sold all of the stock in less than 2 weeks, tore down the building and constructed a huge addition to the store - completed in Sept. 1928."
