The east building elevation is visible, and includes the tower with additional stories. Service trucks are visible parked against or near the curb on Farmer. The Downtown Branch of the Detroit Public Library is visible in the left foreground. The name of the photography studio and their geographic location are embossed on the bottom of the recto, "Manning Bros., Detroit." Also printed on the bottom of the recto is the photographic sequence number, "93908."
