Sepia-toned photo of Detroit's skyline and riverfront as taken from Windsor. Several Detroit and Cleveland passenger steamers are docked along the river front, as is one of the Boblo Boats. The Michigan Bell Building, Fort Street Post Office and Federal Building, Book-Cadillac Hotel, Penobscot, Guardian Building, Hudson's, First National Building, the Barlum Tower, and Barlum Hotel are among the visible buildings. The boats, and several buildings near the river are noticeably retouched. Stamps are on the verso for Manning Brothers, the Adcraft Club of Detroit Library, an April 6, 1940 Liberty Art Department context, and the Detroit Convention and Tourists Bureau.
