Black and white photographic print depicting three images of Buick race cars and one of a Buick V-6 engine.
Caption reads: Buick Racing Engines Win Bag Again - Buick Motor Division's racing V-6 engines, based on the widely acclaimed 3300 and 3800 V-6s used in most Buick passenger cars, won 86 cars and eight championships in nationally sanctioned competition in 1989. In various forms, they shattered all stockblock speed records at Indianapolis and dominated their respective classes in NASCAR stock-car and IMSA sports-car racing. They also set impressive new standards for performance and durability in the all-Buick-powered American Racing Series (ARS), the acknowledged training ground for aspiring Indy-car drivers.
