Black and white photograph showing a police officer and a young woman inspecting the chainring of bicycle that's been turned upside outside a door marked, "8, Police Dept.," presumably as part of Pontiac, Michigan's World War II era effort to conserve rubber by curbing the use of automobiles. A young man stand on the right in the foreground, while another young woman holder her bicycle in the background. "Bill Fitzgerald," is stamped and "Pontiac, MI," is handwritten on the verso.
