Black and white photo of construction at the Windsor waterfront with the skyline of Detroit in the background across the Detroit River. A contractor's pickup truck is parked behind a row of wooden fencing and an a-frame barricade on an unpaved strip. A couple leads against the railing, while another man walks past. A Columbia Transportation Company freighter with two deck cranes is headed down river. In the Detroit, the Fort Shelby Hotel, the Michigan Bell Building, the Detroit Federal Building, the Book-Cadillac Hotel, Book Tower, the Penobscot, the Buhl Building, the Guardian Building, Hudson's, the First National Building, the City-County Building, Cadillac Tower, Ford Auditorium, and the Wayne County Building all stand out along the skyline. The Boblo boats, STE. CLAIRE and COLUMBIA, are docked at the riverfront. "11-57," is handwritten, and "An Automobile Club of Michigan Photo," is stamped on the verso.
