Black and white photographic print of the "Gracious Living" exhibit, which was featured at the Detroit Historical Museum and depicts the parlor furnishings and women's clothing styles of the 1860s. Typed on the verso, "GRACIOUS LIVING of another generation in Detroit is pictured in this parlor exhibit. Many of the pieces displayed here are from homes of old Detroit families. All are historically accurate." Also, the photographic sequence number and the date are hand written on the verso, "113851; 8-54."
