Photograph. Sepia-toned photo showing four Detroit Police officers who are seated in a Police Department automobile. The automobile is parked on the street in front of a brick building which may be a police station. Also, the automobile is right-hand drive since the steering wheel is located on the right side of the vehicle. Three of the officers are wearing caps and coats with badges. The fourth officer does not have a badge of his cap or coat. Handwriting on the verso shows "P. C. Lenz Photo, 607 Chene, cor. Pierce" along with the signature, "John H. Sterling."
