Black and white photograph taken of Second Avenue, facing south from just north of Jefferson Avenue. Streetcar tracks run from south on Second, making a turn to the east at Jefferson. On the northeast corner of Second and Jefferson is a parking lot. The Royal Greeting Card Company, World Novelty Company, Puritan Press Printing, and McKesson and Robbins building are on the south side of Jefferson, to the east of Second. A billboard is posted at street level on Second on the side of the Royal Greeting Card Company. Further south on Second is the Standart Brothers Hardware Corporation. A small portion of a boat can be seen docked at the riverfront. "4-20-51, Looking south along 2nd from N. of Jeff.," is handwritten in ink around the border on the recto.
