Black and white aerial photograph cut from a proof sheet taken of Lafayette Park, Elmwood Park, and the Rivertown-Warehouse District in the foreground, from a point above the Detroit River south of Riopelle Street. 1300 Lafayette East, The Pavilion Apartments, Lafayette Towers Apartments, and Windsor Tower stand in Lafayette Park. Much of the land in Elmwood Park is clear save for a couple housing developments. The Detroit Screw Works warehouse at Atwater Street and Riopelle Street is near the lower right. The Grand Trunk Railroad line extends diagonally from the center of the right edge of the frame. "M-2054," was handwritten on the verso of the proof sheet.
