The Chateau is just right of center in the photograph, a large building of similar structure is immediately to the left. The Chateau has a central structure that looks like a three-sided rectangle, a single-story wing juts out on either side of that structure toward the back of the house. A fountain in a grass field is in the foreground. The garden has a pathway that begins at the archway at the center of the Chateau. The archway leads to the front courtyard. The pathway leads to the right, where it divides into two directions, one path leading in the direction of the fountain, the other toward the river at the right of the Chateau. Near the pathways on the right is a statue. The garden on the right of the photograph looks well groomed and taken care of, the left does not. Other houses can be seen in the distance.
