Black and white photograph of a stone stairway with a dark, wrought iron railing in the Château de Pontchartrain in Jouars-Pontchartrain, Yvelines. The stairs start in the middle of the frame and go up toward the left. The first stair extends longer than the others and has a round edge to it. A very tall plant is to the right of the bottom of the stairs. On the far right side of the photograph is a partially visible frame of a doorway. The floor is tile. The floor, stairs, and wall are all light in color. "Michel Desjardins," is handwritten on the verso.
