Sepia-toned photograph of the Woodbridge Street face of a building on the southwest corner of Woodbridge and Riopelle Street, where the Adolph Nazarre Marion and Elizabeth Beaufait Marion lived with extended family members Archange Campau Marion, and Alexis Campau. The building is wooden with two stories, and signs for "Choice Candies, Tobacco, & Cigars," and "Smoking Tobacco," posted near the two entrances. A handwritten note on the verso of a cardboard frame which previously held the photo reads:
South-west corner of Woodbridge St. and Riopelle St. Detroit, Michigan.
Father and Mother resided here after their marriage with Father's Mother, Archange and Alexis Campau, brother of Archange Marion. After his death moved to 324 E. Congress St. Charles and Mrs. Griffon were born here in this house as pictured. -Edgar Beaufait Marion
