Print, Photographic

Black and white photographic print mounted on fabric depicting the inside of the Dressler Kiln at the Champion Porcelain Co.
Caption on verso reads: Dressler Kiln after shut-down in August 1927, after 21 months' continuous oil firing.
View of clay and carborundum sections on west side. Note oxidation of joint material and the skewed bottom ports, this is probably the result of uneven expansion particularly in the first clay section (last carborundum section being #25) also the top of top clay section crushed way out of shape.
