Caption on verso reads: Operating Control Room for Dressler Kiln. Temperature deviation meters, with signal lamps above, are arranged at each side of operator's desk. Additional pyrometers, draft gauges, and electrical meters are located in this room. A battery of Ranarex CO2 recorders is mounted in one adjoining room and a battery of Bacharach pressure recorders modified to act as controllers is mounted in another adjoining room maintained at constant temperature. The operator's room is cooled by a refrigerating unit.
