The addresses 235 and 237 are posted beside the front door. Small square wooden columns and large brick corner column support the roofs of the porch and balcony. A tree grows in the lawn to the right of the front walk. The photo is mounted on an olive cardboard backing printed with the photographer's information, "Manning Brothers, 22-24 Witherell St., Detroit." An image of a clock surrounded by the text, "Received, Answered Oct [?] 1914," is stamped on the verso.
