Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies lingerie available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands wearing a knee-length front button dress, surrounded by an ornamented frame; she appears to be staring at mannequin forms adorned in ladies brassieres and foundations. The mannequins are affixed to a fluted column, and embellished with tulle. Similar styles of foundations are visibly displayed in the foreground and left background. Signage in the central foreground is accompanied by copies of 'Vogue' magazine, it reads, "Vogue says: 'Figures are based on Shape,' Consequently, Look to the Discipline of a Good Corset to Further the Easily Rounded Contour, Corsets, Fifth Floor, Farmer; Dress Green Room, Sixth Floor, Woodward." The date, and photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "9-12-46; 22552-2x."
