Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies headwear available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Female mannequins are featured in the display adorned in fur coats and accessorized with the latest in hat fashions; mannequin heads perched atop ornamental tables and columns also feature the latest hats. The window is decorated with marble columns, and floral arrangements. Signage in the central foreground reads, "The Way of a Hat With a Heart, Wear a Hat He Will Remember You By." Also, signage affixed across the front of the window reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The photographic sequence number, and the date are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18862-x; 8-10-43."
