Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies hosiery available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Ladies hosiery from maker Roman Stripe are displayed on mannequin legs and draped over an elevated interior display. An oversized crown and scepter ornament the display. Signage in the right foreground reads, "A new shade inspired by the diamond set in Britain's royal scepter! Crown Jewel - a spicy beige in Roman Stripe Nylons, 60 gauge… 15 denier, $1.95 pair, Hosiery_First Floor, Grand River, Section A… Farmer, Section B." The photographic sequence number, company name, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "25607-x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "Oct. 1952."
