Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies hosiery available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Differing shades of ladies hosiery are draped on ornamental displays throughout the window. Oversized signage in the center of the display feature caricature images of a man and woman, the sign reads, "Hudson's 54th Anniversary Bulletin, Ladies who wear our Stockings Avoid Embarrassment... Triple Guard Toe, and Angle Knit Toe." Also, signage in the right foreground reads, "54th Anniversary, Our Famous 'Marquise' Stockings, Anniversary Priced $1.10 pr., Exquisitely fine, we know they are durable! Several pairs at this special price will amount to unusual savings, First Floor, Farmer." The photographic sequence number and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "17244; Davis B. Hillmer."
