Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies perfumes available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A papier-mâché body, which appears as a tree, with leaves and limbs is featured at the center of the display. Tulle is draped across the back of the display. Accompanying the tree are bottles of perfume and sachets. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Purple Lilac, … Subtle Fragrance, by Ann Haviland, Toiletries, First Floor, Woodward." The date, photographic sequence number, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "5-1-47; 22812-15x; Davis B. Hillmer."
