Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies summertime fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Five female mannequins are featured in the window and each are wearing a similar style of dress which includes a straight, knee-length skirt, and an empire waist. The necklines and sleeves of the dresses all vary from including a bolero jacket with bow collar, a sleeveless dress with V-neck, long sleeves with a boat neck and front buttons; embellished top, and a woven neckline. Accessories are also featured in the display, and accompany the mannequins; they include handbags, gloves, hats, footwear. Banners ornament the rear of the display. Signage in the central foreground reads, "The light look for summer '66, Paled and Pretty, New color combine… whitened softened in carefree Celanese Acetate, Hudson's Detroiter Shop, Misses Dresses, 6th Floor."
