Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring Co-ed College fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured in the display dressed in the latest college fashions which include pleated skirts, and knitwear tops. The left mannequin is surrounded by a cutout board adorned with images of books on shelves. Visible in the foreground and affixed to the wall behind the mannequin, is an oversized cover of 'Vogue' magazine, which reads, "Vogue College Issue, The 1952 look for the young in or out of college, Every fashion shown in colour." Also, signage in the central foreground reads, "Vogue's 1952 College Look, the sweater year - they come in pairs; the overblouse… young cousin to the middy; College Shop… 5th Floor, Woodward… Section F." The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "25390-2x." Also, the date is hand-written on the verso, "Aug. 1952." Stamped on the verso is the photographer's name, address, and telephone number, Davis B. Hillmer, Commercial Photography, 8825 Second Ave. Detroit 2, Michigan., TR 5-7620, TR 2-8000."
