Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring Co-ed College fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Six female mannequins feature differing styles of fashion for the college-bound girl including, overcoats, knitwear, skirts, dresses, and accessories. Shelving units of books are featured amongst the mannequins and each also features a handbag and scarf. Oversized 'Mademoiselle' magazine covers for their college issue are affixed to the rear of the display. Signage in the central foreground reads, "First plank in the Mademoiselle platform, Blonde, Blondes in the classroom, on the campus, on coke dates, in the stadium! Fashions that will be shown in the August issue of Mademoiselle, College Shop… 5th Floor, Woodward… Section F." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "7-29-52; 25388; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
