Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies springtime fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are featured in the display and each are dressed in differing styles which include ladies suiting visible on the left and right mannequins; the left mannequin is dressed in a plaid suit, which includes a plaid skirt and jacket, with button front enclosures, a belted waist, and three-quarter length sleeves. The suit featured on the right mannequin features a four leaf clover pattern with an A-line skirt, and jacket with a button front, and cuffed three-quarter length sleeves. Standing atop the ornamental bridge, the center mannequin is dressed in a calf-length party dress, with a lace collar, exposed décolletage, and puffy sleeves. A flowering tree is visible in the background. Signage affixed to the bridge reads, "Sure sign of Spring! New Cottons by McMullen, Brand-new, 1952 versions are real wardrobe assets! They're as beautifully finished inside as out in a colorful array of cottons designed exclusively by Dorothy Cox for McMullen! Hudson's Casual Shop in the Woodward Shops, 7th Floor."
