Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring a ladies fashion and fabrics available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin is dressed in a mid-calf length straight skirt, with blouse, and vest; she is accessorized with a hat, scarf, gloves, and footwear. Differing colors of fabric are draped around her. Adjacent to the mannequin is a series of luggage featuring differing literary works; signage inside the luggage reads, "Miss Ann Turner, Advance Stylist, will present an informal showing of plain and novelty corduroy fashions, Five shows daily, 11, 11:45, 2:15, 3 and 3:35, Rayon Fabric Shop, Third Floor, Section F." A lattice work featured in the rear of the display features an affixed sign and reads, "Choose Corduroy, for an up-to-date fall or college wardrobe! New cotton corduroy fabrics for separates, casuals; important in the fashion picture, 36 inches wide, $1.69, Tara Tweed Cotton, 36 inches wide, $1.00, Rayon Fabric Shop, 3rd Floor Farmer, Section B."
