Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies French fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured on the right side of the display, and each is dressed in the latest fashions. The right mannequin is featured in a mid-calf length skirt, with jacket that features a belt-cinched waist, front button closures, and pocket detailing, Jacques Heim Paris Design, Vogue Pattern Number 1099. The right mannequin features a lightly colored suit which also displays a mid-calf length skirt, and jacket with front button enclosures, and contrasting collar Schiaparelli Paris Design, Vogue Pattern Design Number 1098. Also a large partition features a series of movie posters for the Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer Francis. Signage in the left foreground reads, "Schiaparelli and Heim Designer Patterns, make exciting news in fabric and color for your own cut-from-the-cloth fashions, White Tootal Linen, 36 inches wide, $3.50 yard, Pure Silk Shantung, $3.95 yard, Rayon and Cotton Fabric Shops, 3rd Floor, Sections C and D." The photographic sequence number, date, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "24048-2x; 5-17-50; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
