Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies daytime dresses available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The two female mannequins stand on either side of a metal partition with abstract floral detailing. Featured on the right mannequin is a mid-calf length shirtwaist dress with pleat details, belted waist, front-button closure and collar. The left mannequin is also features a mid-calf length shirtwaist dress, with a polka-dot pattern, belted waist, button front and collar. The ladies are also accessorized with jewelry, headwear, and footwear. Ladies footwear is displayed in the central foreground of the display which includes differing styles of strappy sandals. Signage adjacent to the footwear reads, "1950, Accessory Additions, Striplings, Afternoon Shoe News, Woodward Shops, 7th Floor." Also, signage affixed to the partition reads, "Vogue, Americana Fashions, 1950, Eyes on U.S.A. Fashions, Here Goes an American; Major Fashion Trends, From Hudson's Spring Collections… and seen in Vogue's American Addition, The 1950 Shirtwaist Dress, Woodward Shops, 7th Floor, Section E."
