Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are featured in the window, and each are wearing a polka-dot patterned dress, with similar styles of skirts and bodices which include an off-the-shoulder rushed bodice, a strapless crumb catcher bodice, and a scoop neck with small straps. The ladies are shaded by a large tent; also, they are accessorized with hand bags, and strappy sandals. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Hudson's and 'Mademoiselle' focus their attention on suburbia: the good life; be sure to look your prettiest at the Country Club Dance, perfectly enticing silhouettes flit across the coming season… are airy and whimsical; Inexpensive Evening Gowns, 6th Floor, Woodward… Section D."
