Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies coats available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured amongst a series of columns, and are dressed in lightly colored calf-length skirts, and mid-length overcoats with pocket detailing and horizontal piping. Each lady is accessorized with a hat, gloves and footwear. A platform on the right side of the display also features ladies accessories which include a scarf, gloves, and jewelry. Signage affixed to the right rear wall reads, "Bright Coat, One Sharp Stroke of Color to Emphasize Your Spring Costume, Fashion Coat Shop - Sixth Floor, Grand River." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "2-10-47; 22752-2x; Davis B. Hillmer."
