Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies printed travel fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands on a platform in the center of the display and is dressed in a knee-length geometric patterned dress, with belt, button front, notch lapel, and long sleeves. Ladies accessories included on the mannequin are headwear, t-strap shoes, and a beaded bracelet. Matching dress fabrics are draped in the rear of the display. Adjacent to the mannequin is a brick and stucco wall, a gate, coral, and starfish. A small sign is displayed atop a piece of coral right of the mannequins, it reads, "Dress, Butterick Pattern 3934." Also, signage in the central-right foreground reads, "For Your Travels to Warmer Climes, Pure Dye Silk Prints, Adaptable to Dresses or Blouses, 39 inches Wide, $7.95 yard, Rayon Fabric Shop, Third Floor, Farmer." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "12-14-46; 22708; Davis B. Hillmer."
