Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring the latest young women's fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are featured in the display; and feature dark colored skirts, patterned blouses, short coats with three quarter length sleeves, and a patterned dress with a color-blocked skirt. Also, the mannequins feature the latest women's accessories which include differing styles of headwear, hand and shoulder bags, gloves, and footwear. Model airplanes are affixed to the rear of the display, as well as a poster depicting an airport, which reads, "Age of Flight." Also, signage in the central foreground neighboring the seated mannequin reads, "Flying-Color Fashions, Zoom to Junior from California, Winged from the West via Swift Air Freight… Thrilling as Your First Flight, Cotillion Room, Fifth Floor, Woodward… Section F." The photographic sequence number, date, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "22403-x; 3-13-46; Davis B. Hillmer."
