Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies fabrics available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands on the right side of the display wearing a pin stripped suit, and hat with blusher. Accompanying the mannequin is an accordion display which is draped with the same pin stripped fabric, as well as signage which reads, "Now! In Hudson's 12th Floor Auditorium, A New Expanded Series of Six Sewing Instruction Lectures at 11 A.M. and 2:30 P.M. Daily, Presented by McCall Sewing Corps, See Schedule of Lectures on Bulletin Board, 12th Floor Corridor." Also draped in the display are large swags of the pin stripped fabric. Signage in the left foreground reads, "You'll Like to Wear, Duco-Striped Rayon Suiting, In New Fall Shades, 42 Inches Wide, McCall Pattern Number 5244, $1.59 Yard, Third Floor, Farmer." Also, signage displayed across the foreground of the window reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "18869-6x."
