Two female mannequins are displayed, and feature knee-length dresses, with rushing on the hips, bust, and arms. The mannequins are also featured with accessories including hats, gloves and handbags. An upholstered stool neighbors the left mannequin and features a ladies handbag. Patterned fabric ornaments the rear of the display, and spiral-style signage is visible in the left foreground and reads, "Wardrobes for the American Way of Living." Signage in the central foreground reads, "Town Frocks for the First Important Daytime Engagement, Gown Shop, Sixth Floor, Woodward." The photographic sequence number is printed on the bottom of the recto, "18309-x."
