Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies play clothes and beach wear available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are featured each adorned in a differing style of wear; the left mannequin wears trousers, and a blouse; the central mannequin is adorned in a short sleeved blouse with matching shorts, and jacket; and the right mannequin is adorned in swimwear. Two other blouses and a pair of trousers are also featured in the display. A large image of a Polynesian landscape is visible in the background and the display features a palm tree and a sandy beach. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Polynesian Hei-Tiki, Designs and Colors in Fashions, Fabrics, and Accessories, Beach and Play Clothes, Patterned After the Brightly Hued Marine Life of the Lovely Islands of the Pacific, Fifth Floor, Grand River." The photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "18012-x; Davis B. Hillmer."
