Photograph. Sepia-toned photographic print of a wide portion of a velodrome track and the crowds gathered around it. Verso is labeled "1/4 M Bicycle track in Highland Park in the 90s." Photo was taken from the grassy field circumscribed by the banked track, facing outward toward a portion of it. Two bleachers filled with spectators surround outside of the track. A much smaller set of bleachers, as well as a row of standing spectators and perhaps participants line the interior of the track. A small group of them on the far right surround a large conical object, likely a large megaphone aimed at the crowd. Several bicycles rest along the track's upper railing. A shallow ditch and some wooden boards are in the foreground, within the track's interior.
