Sepia-toned photographic print of an illustrated bird's-eye view of the Federal Motor Truck Company plant at 5780 Federal Avenue, Detroit, Michigan circa 1944. The image shows large factory buildings that have signs for "FEDERAL MOTOR TRUCK CO." mounted on the front along the top. There are multiple truck parked along the building. Some people mill around on the sidewalks lining the outside of the buildings. In the center is a building with a smokestack and water tower. The tops of trees line the bottom edge. There is a tan border around the image. On the back, in the top left corner, is black ink type print that says "F-147 - Bird's-eye view of Federal Factory." Thre are then two clippings. They provide information about the plant and Federal Motor Truck Co. There is handwriting near the center of the top that says "Main plain located at / 5780 Federal Avenue / Detroit, Michigan."
