Three men in dress suits are standing behind the model (left to right): Herman E. Taylor, Supervisor of Traffic, Detroit Street Railways (DSR); Del A. Smith, General Manager, DSR; Gordon V. Allyn, DSR mechanic who built the model. Handwritten text on the verso identifies the three men and also shows "Taylor Belt Plan" as well as "Detroit Rapid Transit." A blue ink stamp shows the date, "June 21, 1929."
