One black and white photograph of a barge and the dipper dredge, T. A. SCOTT, of the Merritt-Chapman & Scott Corporation. The photo shows a starboard bow view of the dredge which is working on the Bayfield Channel section of the St. Mary's River, just downstream of the locks at Sault Ste. Marie. The dredge is depositing excavated material into an adjacent barge. Black ink stamps on the verso show "Materna Studio, Sault Ste. Marie, Mich." and "Nov. 28, 1961."
