Bolts of woolen fabric are visible in the background. The photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "25790; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "Jan. 1954." Also, the address and telephone number of the photographer are stamped on the verso, "Davis B. Hillmer Commercial Photographer, 8825 Second Avenue. Detroit 2, Michigan. TR5-7620, TR 2-8000."
